Have an Experienced Dallas Airplane Crash Attorney On Your Side
We have all seen the survivors of air plane crashes on television, and you can tell that immediately after the crash even though they may be physically unhurt, they are mentally devastated. Having a brush with death is something no one gets over easily. If you or your loved one goes through an air crash, it is an experience that deeply affects the entire family, psychologically, mentally, and even financially.
After an aviation crash, most people are more concerned about their personal welfare and their mental health than they are about establishing blame and gaining recompense. This is certainly understandable since surviving airplane accidents or incidents of any kind can be very traumatizing. However, by handing your case immediately over to an airplane crash attorney, you will be better able to concentrate on healing mentally and physically, rather than dealing with paperwork and phone calls.
There are several issues that come into play in any airline crash, whether it is in commercial or general aviation. Of course, there is the issue of fault, and unlike a car crash where you may be at fault, you are almost never at fault in the case of an aviation crash. Sometimes the only real issue is whether the crash is a result of pilot error, plane malfunction, or weather.
There are numerous reasons for airplane crashes, but as far as you are concerned, that is the business of your airplane crash lawyer. Your only job is to present them with the facts as you know them, and then concentrate on your health. Being in an air crash is devastating, traumatic, and can cause lifelong health and psychological problems, and the last thing that you need to be worrying about is dealing with an insurance company or lawyers for an airline.
The reason why the plane crashed often affects the amount of compensation you will receive. For instance, if the cause of the accident was pilot error or negligence, or malfunction, they might owe you more than just the money to cover your medical bills, pain and suffering. Compensatory and punitive damages are often awarded to victims when the airline is shown to be negligent, and this is something that your airplane crash lawyer will look into.
